💡 What: Added @functools.lru_cache to _alias_lookups and _aliases_for_language in openmed/openmed/clinical/sections/detect.py. Returning types.MappingProxyType to guarantee immutability of the cached mapping.
🎯 Why: For large documents with many lines, recalculating the dictionary of aliases per-line created a significant performance bottleneck. Caching prevents redundant parsing of section lexicons since the result is deterministic given a language code.
📊 Impact: Reduces execution time for detect_sections on documents with many lines significantly (e.g. from ~1.0s to ~0.1s in local benchmarking).
🔬 Measurement: Verified with targeted test suite runs and ad-hoc benchmarking scripts validating reduced execution times over repeated calls. No functionality is broken. Tests pass successfully.
