Sim has dedicated integration blocks and tools for services such as Tavily. Please consider adding a block for the Webz.io News Search API.
Webz.io accepts natural-language news queries and returns relevant articles, matching content chunks, and structured metadata. It supports filters such as publication date, language, country, source, sentiment, and category.
Suggested integration
- Add a Webz.io block and News Search tool following the existing Tavily block/tool conventions
- Configure authentication using a Webz.io API key
- Inputs: query, maximum results, date range, language, country, source, sentiment, and category
- Outputs: title, URL, publication date, source, article metadata, relevance data, and matching content chunk
- Register the block, add its credential configuration, and document it in the integrations section
- Add request/response types and tests
This would provide a news-focused source for research agents, monitoring workflows, market analysis, and current-events automation.
