Sharpened wording at line 31 (must be first-time user; email must not have been used to sign up before; duplicate signup with same email = ineligible) restates the same substantive rule already present in the pre-edit, currently-published version of this line ("They must be a first-time Runpod user. If they previously had a Runpod account under the same email address, they are not eligible."). No new fact introduced, only clarified phrasing; verified consistent with "Important details" line 79 ("New accounts only").

For a referral to qualify for rewards, the person you refer must meet all of the following requirements:
They must sign up using Google SSO. Referrals who sign up through any other method are not eligible for rewards.
They must be a first-time Runpod user. Users who previously had a Runpod account under the same email address, including deleted accounts, are not eligible for referral rewards.
They must have signed up after June 15, 2025. Accounts created before this date are not eligible.
They must load at least $10 onto their account. The bonus credits are awarded only after this minimum $10 load.

Thanks @lavanya-gunreddi — got it. I'm updating the eligibility requirements on this PR to include all four conditions you listed (Google SSO, first-time user, signup after June 15 2025, and the $10 minimum load). I'll follow up here once the changes are pushed. |

Source: verbatim requirement supplied by PR reviewer lavanya-gunreddi (Runpod maintainer, authoritative source for their own referral program) in PR #801 review comment dated 2026-08-20. This exact date/fact is NOT independently corroborated elsewhere in the docs: line 24 of this page documents a June 16, 2025 cutoff for referrer-beta grandfathering (a different program/date), and line 48 documents a June 26, 2025 cutoff for affiliate-beta status (also a different program/date). Neither confirms nor contradicts a June 15, 2025 referred-user signup cutoff. Linear keyword search for independent corroboration was unavailable (tooling gap). Carried as reviewer-sourced per instruction; flagged unverified, not treated as a blocking correction.

@lavanya-gunreddi Done — the "Eligibility requirements" section (and this PR) now lists all four requirements you asked for:
One thing to confirm before merging: the June 15, 2025 signup cutoff is new and we couldn't corroborate it against the existing docs. This page already references a June 16, 2025 cutoff (for referrers in the beta group) and a June 26, 2025 affiliate-beta cutoff, but neither is a referred-user signup cutoff. We've applied June 15, 2025 exactly as you wrote it — could you confirm that's the intended date (and not the June 16 one used elsewhere on the page)? |

Clarifies the terms and conditions for earning the Runpod referral bonus in the "Eligibility requirements" section of the referral programs page. Following @lavanya-gunreddi's review, the section now states all four requirements a referred user must meet to qualify for rewards:
