PIUIO Keyboard Config utility fills up storage 100% with Xsession errors

Description

When running the PIUIO keyboard config tool, it will start to spam errors to ~/.xsession-errors quickly until the storage space is filled up or the program is terminated. This has happened with me back in 2020 when I was first using pumptools (and had no clue that it had caused it) however after going through another install of it with a friend the incident has happened once again.

OS and hardware specs

• OS: MX Linux 21.3
• CPU: Intel Core i5 8400
• RAM: 16GB
• GPU: NVIDIA GT1030
• Controllers/IO: None

Thanks for reporting this and creating visibility on this issue. Unfortunately, I don't really have the capacity to look into this now and soon. However, this still might help others that run into similar issues and find this post, plus whoever picks up work at some point, might find this information useful and allows them to address the issue with less friction.
