Summary

  • make every repository-owned Git source trackable while retaining immutable refs
  • add a transactional updater that refreshes all root sources, the plugin sdist, FSDK metadata, the exact IJS/Ghostscript ref, and canonical application version
  • verify CUPS patch compatibility and the complete appliance before minting write credentials
  • open one Mergeraptor-authored dependency PR with auto-merge disabled, while keeping Snap updates independent

Verification

  • scripts/update-fsdk-sources.py (30 external sources checked)
  • isolated scripts/update-fsdk-sources.py --update smoke; detected FSDK 26.08.1 and synchronized exact Ghostscript/IJS metadata, then proposal was discarded
  • synthetic mid-update failure restored all tracked metadata bytes
  • just verify
  • actionlint .github/workflows/*.yml
  • python3 -m py_compile scripts/update-fsdk-sources.py
  • bash -n tests/*.sh files/*.sh
  • git diff --check
