Document that the Linux (host/systemd) agent auto-collects container metrics and logs on any Docker host (default-on, independent of APM; opt out with KM_DOCKER_STATS/KM_DOCKER_LOGS), gives per-container eBPF (Off/eBPF), and frame Linux vs Docker as a deployment-model choice rather than "which one sees containers." Also correct the PHP-container instrumentation model to match the code (km-agent develop a439d2d): PHP containers use the per-service SDK toggle in Discovered Services, on by default in Docker mode and opt-in on a host agent via KM_CONTAINER_INSTRUMENT_ENABLED; drop the stale "automatic / configured by environment, not the toggle" wording. Add the container env vars to the config reference. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
