I work to improve the software engineering experience through advocacy, guidance, and automation tooling. That usually means automating away daily toil, deploying infrastructure that gives development teams the right layer of abstraction, and offering perspective on engineering best practices, sustainability, and productive engineering culture.

Current focus

  • Lead infrastructure and strategy for source control, artifact storage, CI/CD, code intelligence, generative AI coding assistants, and code quality analysis, while building and mentoring a geographically distributed engineering team.
  • Technologies and tools I often work with: Git, AWS, Terraform, Packer, Bash, Golang, Lua, Linux, and a whole lot of different package managers.
