Syphon into touchdesigner is not float32 to instace depth

I feel sorry about writing in such an old post, but this can be very useful to me now!

The only problem is that when I get the siphon "depth" into Touchdesigner it's just a black&white image with no parameters i can use for depth.
Is there any other way of sending the depth data over syphon? I would expect an RGB colored image in float32 so RGB would represent XYZ positions.

I have not looked at this code for a long time. I am not sure if libfreenect gets that much precision. At the moment the depth is encoded in greyscale but this might be dropping precision.

I will try look into it shortly.
