Felix Patawah

Backend engineer in New York. I build and operate Java and Spring Boot microservices on AWS at JPMorganChase, on a data and analytics platform: REST APIs, Glue pipelines, DynamoDB access-pattern design, and the production on-call that comes with owning them.

Recent

Atlanta Transit Agent — Winner, Best Use of Atlanta Open Data at Hack RenderATL (MLH), August 2026. A conversational agent over Atlanta civic data. Batch pipeline aggregating 2.4M MARTA GTFS stop-times to 49K per-stop-per-day rows with DuckDB spatial joins, a 19-task orchestrated harvest with retry policies differentiated by failure mode, and eval rubrics that stop the agent citing figures its query never returned. I set out to show MARTA underserves Atlanta's poorest neighbourhoods; the data said otherwise, and the README reports that instead.
