OS: Android 10
Device: Moto e Phone
NativeAlpha: Version 1.5.2
Steps to Reproduce
• Open Global Settings
• Click on 'Enable Access Restriction' toggle switch.
Result
Android Message: Native Alpha has stopped.
Notes
Several Apps on my device including WhatsApp and Zangi use biometric access protection and there is no problem with it so this is likely not a hardware issue.
NativeAlpha fork 'Peel' also crashes when biometric access protection is turned on. Although it appears Peel has inherited this issue it does not manifest in quite the same way. In Peel I can turn the Biometric Lock on without that immediate crash I described here, but when I try to open a website I saved in Peel, it crashes if it is a home screen shortcut. Turning off Biometric Lock restores normal functionality.
NativeAlpha is a great app, so I hope this is helpful guys!
