Welcome to my GitHub!

I'm Alex Rotar, I study CS at West University of Timișoara, and I enjoy designing and building reliable software, primarily with TypeScript and Node.js, with a broader interest in Java, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.

🏆 Achievements

Gold Medal · 2nd Place — National Olympiad of Digital Innovation 2026, Web Section, for the following projects:

  • Recash — A platform for Romania’s SGR ecosystem, combining marketplace workflows, reputation systems, data-driven features and AI.
  • RuleShop — A configurable e-commerce platform with service-oriented architecture and a flexible rule engine.

🚀 Projects

Since 2025, through Roti’s Web, I’ve created custom web solutions for businesses and organizations, including CNSV Platform, Brothers Barbershop Website, and Stela Vesa Digital Art Gallery.

Alongside client work, I maintain independent projects such as Lost & Found and Roti’s Conta, covering practical applications and product concepts.
