Adding the domain needs an **authenticated cPanel session** — the same column as creating a database.

folder. Then accept the document root cPanel proposes (`public_html/app` or

A subdomain of a domain already on the account needs no DNS work; it is served from the existing zone.
A separate domain must be registered with nameservers already pointing here — run the `dig +short A`
