Today I'm happy to nominate @thunze for the commit bit. Tom has been an active contributor to Nixpkgs for more than a year and a half now, and in that time has proven themselves to be an excellent maintainer across a wide range of areas. In particular, I've always found their reviews to be consistently high-quality and thoughtful. As well as their technical contributions, in my interactions with them they've been a relentlessly positive force who is always willing to lend a hand to newer contributors and who is encouraging to everyone around them. I wholeheartedly believe that they would be a responsible and dedicated committer.
