The locked Metro and Browserslist dependencies contain six high-severity audit findings. Update Expo's Metro wrapper to 55.1.2, align Metro on 0.83.8 using compatible root overrides, and refresh Browserslist to 4.28.9. Metro's patch removes the affected image-size dependency. The app stays at version 1.4.1; direct native dependency versions are unchanged.
Validation: fresh npm ci, 31 Jest tests across six suites, TypeScript, ESLint, Expo's offline dependency check, and an iOS JavaScript bundle export pass. npm audit reports zero high/critical findings; 26 moderate findings remain in the existing SDK stack. No native archive, device HealthKit/Watch test, or store submission was performed.
