Could we please have separate proxy settings?

Currently, Squirrel-SQL uses a global proxy configuration. We often run into database connection issues when we forget to toggle the proxy on or off. Would it be possible to implement separate proxy settings for each alias, or at least an individual option to enable or disable the proxy per alias? This would greatly help prevent these connectivity problems.

An experimental implementation of multiple proxy settings can be downloaded here:

Alternatively you may build the branch "prox" from our GIT repositories at GitHub or Sourceforge

As I do not have the environment adequate Could you please test the functionality?
Here's an excerpt from the change log describing the new functionality:

SQuirreL allows multiple proxy settings which can be assigned to Aliases.
At menu File --> Global Preferences --> tab Proxy,
besides the default proxy settings additional settings can be defined.
The Aliases dialog offers a button (router icon) to choose a proxy setting.
The main frame's status bar has a new section displaying the currently used proxy.
