Preview with the templateedit2 plugin

I'm found a couple of minor issues with preview and the templateedit2 plugin.

New user, has just published one post. I open the plugin for the template editor, I make a slight change. I want to preview before I press "Update". The /users/papascott/misc/mockup.html page opens with an error:

I then press Update. Now the preview works.

I make another change to the template. I preview without updating. The preview works, but my new changes are not reflected.

It appears the preview works on the template.html that is saved. I'd expect to see a preview of the template in the editor even if it is not yet saved, or alternatively, for it to be made clear that I need to save before previewing.

That's a terminology issue. It should probably just say "View" -- its one of those things I didn't think about until I read your post, because there are so many balls in the air as I develop. ;-)

I understand it would be useful to have the PREview function instead of the View function, but that'll be more work.

Changing the terminology would be good enough for me. :-) Since Cmd-Z works for undo, and you can undo things even after they've been saved, there's no great need for PREview.

And I understand that when software doesn't work as I expect, it's often that my expectations are wrong.
