in this minute who i look for this project, a update comes up, nice.

1. only with ubnt as username function this script, should be mentioned in the readme please
2. i become this errors (from debian 9 host)

Wouldn't it be easier to provide a tar package, which is then extracted directly on the mPower device via tar extract, and then a small sh script for setup?

The script is written for Debian 10. You need to fiddle around with the SSH/SCP parameters.

Yes. This would have been an option too. I have no plans to redo.
