zip_code_db not found

Hi there! I installed your package from CRAN and from Github, but either way whenever I ran zipcodeR::search_state("NC"), I got the error:

Error in dplyr::filter(., .data$state %in% state_abb) : 
object 'zip_code_db' not found

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

I just figured this one out. If you run zip_code_db <- zipcodeR::zip_code_db first, everything works. Not an ideal solution but best you can do if the author doesn't fix things.

We're running into this issue as well. I was wondering if we should make a PR for this, but it looks like the last PR that was opened hasn't gotten any responses, so maybe this package isn't being actively maintained?

Having the same issue using this in a package (i.e. can't just run library(zipcodeR) and need to have zipcodeR::reverse_zipcode() work in a function definition).

even running zipcodeR::reverse_zipcode(c("94704","55406")) results in an error:

Could not get this to work with pipes at all, so I just wrote my own function to extract the post_office_city from the zip_code_db file that is not properly accessed in the zipcodeR::reverse_zipcode() function.

So if I have a tibble with zip codes stored in a column called zipCode, and I want to add a new column called zip_city with the inferred postal city location for this zip, this should add such a column and leave NA for missing matches
