The check50 compiles test for the pset3 (plurality, runoff, tideman) and pset4 (filter less and more), for example, will fail if the student has altered any part of the distribution code that is disallowed (for example, changing a function declaration, or editing the helpers.h etc.). Yet the student will not see any errors when running make in their own codespace.
Should we add a "help" message to check50 in these cases that reminds students something like "Did you change any parts of the distribution code that aren't allowed?" or similar language?
