Multiple Downloads

When I restart the container, no matter how many times I started the same download queue, it does not seem to write any download progress to the db files. The db files are in fact entirely empty after creation. That leads to consecutive downloads of the same files over and over, even if they are already there. They are simply stored again with a numeric suffix.

Downloads should not be done more than once once they succeed.

The db files are only used for the streamrip downloader, not for deemix or slsk. What downloader are you using?
Also, I am on a backpacking trip until the beginning of 2027 without my laptop so I will not be able to fix it until then, but I keep your issue open in the tracker. Thanks for letting me know & have a nice day!

I stopped using entirely, I think the project is poorly maintained and not production ready yet. Also I got into the code and when I learned that it is more or less 100% AI-Generated with a lot of slop, I wiped it entirely. The idea is great, but the engineering style from a software architectural view ist simply not worth wasting time with it. I am sorry and maybe I am entirely wrong and come back one day.

Well it started just as custom python scripts and ended up with a lot of functions and a webui, some of which are not bulletproof yet and also announced as experimental (i.e. slsk support). And yes, this is not production ready because it is not a SaaS, just a hobbyist project. I also plan to work on a proper full JS rewrite of the project, I do agree the actual implementation has become janky (first time I have to handle gunicorn, and it turned out more complex than planned).
I will close the issue then, I hope you will find another project that better fulfills your needs.
